Betts Baker is passionate about the written word. She read avidly from an early age and her love for writing came soon after.

Born in Arizona and raised in New Mexico, she received a BA in English Literature from Stanford University. She worked for several years in book publishing in Colorado before moving with her husband to the Middle East. After fifteen years, they returned to live once more in Colorado.

Betts began writing seriously once her children began leaving home. Since 2014, she has been writing online marketing materials for businesses, particularly in the manufacturing and engineering niches.

Other writing includes published faith-based articles and privately-circulated family memoirs.

She is currently working on narrative nonfiction articles about the Colorado Rockies.
